The Domestic Diva’s Silhouette SD GIVEAWAY!

CONTEST CLOSED!!!

fabricpennants

I am so excited about this awesome Silhouette SD Electronic Cutting Machine Bundle GIVEAWAY!!!

Silhouette America sent me a Silhouette SD machine to try and will send the winner of my giveaway one, too (details below)!

siltransfer

I found a crown silhouette in their store for a mere 99 cents.  It had lettering that said, “Domestic Goddess,” but I cropped it out using the free Silhouette Software (which was included).

silcrown

I used their black vinyl and cut out the crown.

siltoilet

Now I have a fancy THRONE in the bathroom!  LOL!

silfrosted

Next I played with their new Frosted Vinyl.

silfrosted2

Since I didn’t have a cute fish bowl, I added the frosted vinyl to some glass from a hanging candle lantern.

silfrosted3

I love how it can out!  I can’t wait to use the frosted vinyl on mirrors and other glass objects around my home.

siladhesivepaper

I also tried using some adhesive paper.  It’s basically sticker paper.  I played around and created a few personalized graphics, pressed CUT and stuck them on cards.  Easy peasy!

Now I have to be honest here.  See, over a year ago, I purchased a Cricut Expression during a Black Friday sale.  I even bought the Sure Cuts A Lot Software.  I tried and tried to get the hang of it, but failed miserably.  So I put it back in the box.  And that’s where it’s stayed since.

When my Silhouette SD arrived, it took me a few days to take it out of the box.  But to my surprise, setup and actual cutting was a breeze!  No confusing software or file conversions.  Yeah!

Yes, both machines have their advantages.  But for me, I’m all about doing AWESOME with little effort.

Ok…now for the GIVEAWAY DETAILS…

silhouette-2

  580. Oh, the possibilities are endless and the mere thought of what I could create makes me happier than Sam I Am as he shares his love of green eggs and ham with a stranger… although this stranger does not need to be convinced of all the joy boxed into the silhouette.

    Say!
I do! I love the Silhouette and all its treats!
I do, I love it and I’ll shout it from the streets!
I would make some fabric boats.
And I would make a paper goat.
And I can make vinyl rain.
And a fabric lark. And paper train.
And a scrapbook car and tattoo tree.
Is is so good, so good you see!
So I can make a decorative box.
And I can make a polka dotted fox.
And I can sketch my own little house.
And I can create a etched glass mouse.
I will create here and there.
Say! I can even create custom designs to wear!
I do so like the silhouette!
    Thank you!
    Thank you!
    And so ends my vignette.
